We are so glad you could join us, please take some time to read through the key 🗝 details of the night!

Logistics and Arrival

The dress code for the reception is formal. We thought you all needed something to get dressed up for post COVID 🎀.

Both! If weather allows, we will enjoy Cocktail Hour in the courtyard garden of The Old Courthouse, which overlooks the beautiful Thames River! At 6pm, the Reception will begin with dinner, speeches, and dancing which will follow inside the Courthouse for the remainder of our evening.

Accommodations are partnered with the Delta London Armouries, a beautiful hotel within walking distance to the Old Courthouse. An Accommodations page will be closer to the reception to organize those who need overnight stays, group rates and floor blocks shall be available. 🙂

We are still deciding if we will have a staffed photo booth at the moment, but we will for sure have an area with props for group photos/selfies 📷.

Yes! All the full quality photos from the night will be available via a Dropbox or similar cloud download, when they have finished being processed. A curated digital wedding album from the photographer, will be sent by us as well.

Yes! While all efforts shall be made, please be aware not all song requests can be honored in the time allotted.

Menu, Food and Drinks

Yes! The menu is fully Halal حلال; there is no alcohol or pork in any of the dishes served. All meat items are certified Halal, sourced from a local butcher.

Yes! Please indicate on your RSVP if you have any additional dietary needs. Please take the time to familiarize yourself with the Menu provided in advance to see if you need further accommodations.

No, there is an open bar and no tickets, wristbands or other items are need. Please remember to bring a form of ID!

Yes! The bar has a variety of soft drinks, juices, mock-tails and more! Please indicate on your RSVP if you do not consume alcohol. Tables will have sparkling cider substituted for red and white wines on the tables.

Even if two people mutually agree to switch seats, we please ask that you refrain from doing so as this interferes with the wait staff and their pre-arranged diagrams. This makes it harder to deliver speciality meals and cater to each guests needs.

miscellaneous Questions

Yes! Anything on a dinner table, such as the centerpieces and candles, can be taken home as souvenirs of our celebration! Please do not take home silverware, napkins, etc as they belong to the venue. 🙃

This one’s for you, Brian Phan. 😛

There may be some flexibility to work in a speech request should you want to make one 😀. Please notify us personally or place the request in the additional message section of your RSVP. Slots will be 5-10 mins in length and are subject to change once the final detailed itinerary is released.

Lets address the elephant in the room 🐘🦠

Will there be any changes to the date and above items due to COVID? (NEW)

For now, the date of August 1st, 2021 is still penciled in, but as we loom closer a new date is very likely to be announced. We are discussing this with our venue in February 2021. However, there are a variety of factors completely out of our control, namely the vaccine distribution timeline and regulations set in place months from now. We want to ensure that all in attendance have had the opportunity to receive it and enjoy a safe experience. Even if all Canadian guests have been vaccinated, our guests arriving from abroad may have yet had the opportunity to do so. A 6 month to 1-year delay may be inevitable to make sure this is possible.

Update: Our new date is now Sunday, July 31st, 2022! We hope that you are still able to join us, see the updates page for details on new RSVP instructions. 🙂

What can I do to make sure that I am notified?

Signup to our updates! This makes it easy for us to contact you via email or phone should anything major such as the date change. The card that popped up at the beginning of the website allows you to do so, but just in case you missed it sign up on our Updates Page!
